Beaufort County School district has partnered with Rosetta Stone Classroom to help our students become successful second language learners.  All students in grades 3-12 can have access to the Rosetta Stone Classroom languages program that helps learners listen, read, write, speak and understand a new language.

This program is accessible both at home and at school and will enable students to progress through a second language throughout the year.  Students who are currently enrolled in a world language class will be expected to select that language, as the Rosetta Stone program will be used to support instruction being conducted in the class.  Students who are not currently enrolled in a world language class may select a language that they are interested in pursuing independently.

Rosetta Stone is available to students and staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This will allow language learning to be done in an individualized manner and at the student’s own pace. The program also provides for interactive speaking activities which help students build confidence and fluency.
