Storm Watch 2019

Schools will reopen on Monday
Updated at 5 p.m. | Saturday, September 7

Beaufort County School District schools suffered no significant damage from Hurricane Dorian, and all schools have electrical power and water service.

Schools will reopen Monday on normal schedules.  We will inform parents and employees as quickly as possible about how we will make up the four days missed this week due to Hurricane Dorian.

Beaufort County has been very fortunate to have escaped the worst impacts from a very dangerous storm.  We owe a debt of gratitude to our county emergency services personnel for their hard work in keeping us safe, and also to our district maintenance staff for getting our schools ready to go on Monday.
