Students, parents can learn more about ‘dual
enrollment’ courses at free TCL workshops

BEAUFORT – Beaufort County students and parents can gather information on “dual enrollment” courses at a pair of free workshops offered next week by the Technical College of the Lowcountry.

Through a partnership between TCL and the Beaufort County School District, dual enrollment courses enable students to earn high school and college credits simultaneously and at no charge.  Qualified students can reduce college tuition costs, learn to handle college-level work, lighten college course loads and start exploring possible career paths and college majors.

The first free workshop will be on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. at Bluffton High School.  The second workshop will be on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. at MacLean Hall on TCL’s Beaufort Campus, 104 Reynolds St.
